Aurora Media & Goshen Media Make Waves With BeachTV
BeachTV sets to be Asia’s premier platform for all beach related content.
The official launch of the brand new lifestyle channel, BeachTV, was accompanied by the announcement that it has signed anchor deals with Aurora Media Holdings and Goshen Media Group. The launching and announcement took place during the Asia Television Forum 2016 held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, on December 8, 2016.
Billed as Asia’s first beach-focused lifestyle channel, BeachTV aims to focus on a variety of beach-related content, from beach sports and fashion, to parties and festivals, to lifestyle, tourism and marine conservation.
The channel will also offer a rich mix of acquired, original and user-generated content, as well as spinoffs like beach-related events and merchandising.
“We want to leverage our teams’ experience in Asia-centric lifestyle events and programing to deliver a best-in-class entertainment experiences,” said BeachTV’s managing partner Jevon Wong. “Asia is not only the world’s largest tourism market. We also have amazing beach landscapes and beautiful islands, housing an incredibly rich marine bio-diversity. BeachTV brings the region’s incredible coastline and lifestyle offering to a potentially massive international audience, both within Asia and further afield,” he added.
Aurora Media Holdings, a Singapore-based media and entertainment specialist, led the round in investing and seeding BeachTV’s platform and growth strategy.

Goshen Media Group, a Jakarta-based IP licensing and events producer, will be the primary partner for BeachTV Indonesia.
